Thank you for your beautiful Christmas card, Charles. I would never have thought of something so original and meaningful myself. The collages and the lovely traditional carols and Christmas songs complement each other and certainly reflect the true spirit of Christmas. A very happy Christmas to you too!

    Hi, Charles
Many thanks for your original Christmas Card. I took my daughter down to Tooting on Saturday for lunch at the Lebanese restaurant I told you of and showed her the Salvador sign.
    Best wishes

You really outdid yourself. It is the nicest Christmas card I have ever received. You make me feel inadequate. Here I am, struggling to choose the perfect Christmas gifts for Gerry, Mark and Sam, and I have not even THOUGHT about Christmas cards yet. Thank you so much. You deserve the best Christmas ever.

Great montage, which we enjoyed in our house. There has been a lot of complaints this year here in Australia(at a time when less and less cards are being sent. Our list is two shorter this year due to death and I handed my first over last night to local friends) that the theme of Charles page is hard to find on cards anymore. I still have some and at least one shop let it be known that they stock same still. It reminds me of Christmases past that were more traditional in our family but times have change and the old sit down to a turkey or goose roast with Christmas pudding and custard are long gone. Not of my doing. At least a lot of the family still gets together at one or other of my families’ homes. We are passed it now at my house so it is good my nieces love to keep these things up. We feel for my American family who are spending their first Christmas without Mum’s sister who passed tragically at 89 a couple of months ago with a fall from bed and hit her head. Having to take blood thinners(warfarin) because of heart surgery in the past does not help with survival. There is such a large family there.

I always like to watch Christmas story movies at this time of year and still get a kick out of repeated viewings.

    Best Wishes to All

    Dear Charles,

What a feast for the eyes and the heart! The images are simply glorious and I could revel in them for hours. What a delightful start to the holiday season. I am sure that this project took a lot of time and effort, but the results were well worth it. You’ve created a beautiful keepsake.

I wish you much joy in the holiday season! Thanks for thinking of me.

    Dr. Jenkins,

Thank you for your blessings and beautiful e-card pictures! Were any of those black and white pictures you? That had to be time consuming. Wishing you a joyful and blessed holiday season! I will be seeing you soon 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend & hopefully you are enjoying the 80 degree weather we have today!

    Grace and Blessings,

Charles, Thank you for this lovely display of vintage Christmas cards and snaps! As Kenneth said, cards like these are hard to find. I usually order my Christmas cards from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The museum still has a fair selection of religious cards. Let me take this moment to wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with God’s blessings. Take care, Anthony P.S. Love your stories about London!

Thank you Charles, Christmas when I was growing up was always special, Chestnuts on the open fire, lit candles on the tree, (yes really!) a sing song around the piano, Mum cooking lots of goodies, and getting wonderful presents. How they managed it? working very hard in the markets and making hand made gifts and “Fairy dolls” to sell. hard times for them but Happy. Merry Christmas!

Charles, how do you manage to top yourself every year? This is a splendid collection of music and images. Some of the paintings took my breath away–so luminous and evocative. Thanks for including the Gamages photos, which added the perfect personal touch!

Best wishes for a happy holiday season and joyful New Year.

I am so very impressed by your skill to create such good web-sites: Your Christmas card and especially your sites about cinema organs with lot of information. In part II I am showed sitting at my CHRISTIE 3/9 + grand piano. Sorry to say that this is the ONLY cinema organ in Denmark!
