My parents

My father continued to sing all his life. And when we moved to Langley from London in 1956, for many years, the very second that he crossed the threshold of the bathroom, he would literally burst forth into song. He loved to sing the songs of Richard Tauber and became famous in the neighbourhood for this. But more about his singing attributes at a later time!

Sadly, as my father aged, he had great trouble reaching the high notes and maintaining them when reached. He could often be heard, trying again and again to reach them! It was quite sad, but nevertheless his croaking sounds were somewhat amusing! I wonder if poor Poly had the same problem?
