THE GRANADA THEATRE GREENFORD
-oOo-
The Granada Theatre Greenford opened in November 1937 and was advertised as The Wonder Theatre of 1938. The interior followed closely the template introduced at the Granada Theatre Maidstone, however there were some differences. It was equipped with limited stage facilities and a Wurlitzer Theatre Organ with 3 Manuals and 8 Ranks, which Dudley Beaven played and the opening.

Sadly, due it its location, the theatre was never considered a great success and was the first purpose-built-Granadas in the Circuit to close. Once the theatre closed, the Organ was purchased by an enthusiast who installed it in a building in the grounds of his home in Sutton Nottinghamshire. It was later sold to another enthusiast who installed it, together with the Wurlitzer Theatre Organ from the Granada Theatre Mansfield, at the Scarborough Fair Collection at the Flowers of May Holiday Park at Lebberston Cliff, near Scarborough.
